The role is responsible for managing maintenance, projects, and technical activities while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency across the organization.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>As an Engineering &amp; Works Manager you will:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations regarding machinery, facilities, utilities, instruments, processes, projects and operational efficiency within the Engineering function and across departments.</li><li>Oversee Engineering activities including maintenance, calibration, qualification, and related technical operations, ensuring execution in accordance with schedules and internal procedures.</li><li>Plan, delegate, and supervise Engineering activities to ensure proper commissioning, qualification, and reliability of equipment, facilities and utilities in accordance with Master Protocols.</li><li>Lead and manage Engineering teams and direct reports, monitoring performance and identifying training and development needs.</li><li>Review and approve departmental and organizational documents, including reports, policies, procedures, and technical documentation.</li><li>Manage attendance and absence of direct reports in accordance with company policies. Represent the Engineering department in internal cross-functional meetings and in meetings with external stakeholders.</li><li>Monitor and evaluate departmental performance through regular review of established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).</li><li>Ensure that Engineering personnel are appropriately trained and qualified to perform their duties in compliance with internal procedures and company policies.
