{"id":24968,"title":"Backend .NET Engineer - Risk","company":"B2Tech","location":"Limassol","description":"Join B2Tech as a Backend Engineer to join its growing Risk team.\n\nThe Risk Team owns the development of B2Tech’s new centralized risk management platform, which enables consistent detection, assessment, and response to fraudulent activity across all products and domains.\n\nYOUR IMPACT\n\n\r\n\r\nOwn integrations with external sports data providers, ensuring stable ingestion of events, markets, odds, and settlement data with clear failover paths.\r\nBuild and run data pipelines that normalize, transform, and enrich provider feeds into clean internal schemas.\r\nDevelop and maintain the Market Service that creates, updates, suspends, and manages the full lifecycle of betting markets.\r\nSupport the Risk Team by implementing pricing logic, rules, overrides, and controls for market availability.\r\nDesign a modern, microservice-based platform (e.g., Kafka, MongoDB, SQL Server, Kubernetes) that scales for real-time, high-traffic sports events.\r\nSafeguard data quality and reliability with validations, discrepancy checks, SLAs on freshness/latency, and strong monitoring and alerting.\r\nWork closely with Risk, Sports Channels, Payments & Settlement, Tech Support, QA, and Operations to provide clear APIs, accurate settlement data, and helpful documentation.\n\n\r\n\r\nOUR REQUIREMENTS:\n\n\r\n\r\n5+ years of experience as a developer, with at least 2 years developing in C#.\r\n5+ years of experience with .NET.\r\nMotivated, innovative, and results-driven person!\r\nVery good knowledge of SQL databases, including experience in schema design, query writing, and stored procedure development.\r\nExperience with RESTful services.\r\nUnderstanding of system architecture, including statelessness, caching, and services.\r\nHands-on experience with top agile methodologies: test-driven development and CI/CD environments.\r\nHandling performance issues.\r\nExperience with Docker.\r\nExperienced in cloud environment development.
