The Group delivers innovative aluminum, steel, glass, and cladding solutions for landmark commercial, residential, mixed-use, and public developments across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. \nRole Summary\nThe Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the company's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and the timely preparation of financial information to support business decisions.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and oversee the general accounting system and accounting records.Record, review, and reconcile all financial transactions.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.Process and oversee monthly payroll.Prepare and submit VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Prepare documentation for external auditors.Liaise with external auditors and provide all required financial information during audits.Input and maintain accounting data within the accounting software.Ensure accurate recording of invoices, receipts, payments, journal entries, and payroll transactions.Generate financial and management reports as required.Monitor cash flow, manage petty cash, and assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.Maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.Support continuous improvement of finance processes and systems.Provide financial analysis and support to management when required.Not what you are looking for?
