The team is responsible for ensuring that the company's accounting, financial operations and results are running effectively and smoothly.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nThe Senior Accountant will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures.\n\nHow You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)\n\n\r\n\r\nAssist in the process for the month closing process in order to deliver quality and timely reports as per the communicated corporate closing calendar;\r\nAssist in the preparation of financial results: prepare the monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet Reconciliations in accordance with MetLife guidelines;\r\nAssist in the preparation of quarterly tax provisions and annual tax files; ensure that taxes are recorded accurately and in accordance with local legislation guidelines;\r\nAssist in the preparation of the local Financial Statements and the year-end external audit files;\r\nPrepare and timely submit any statistical information to the local authorities;\r\nCollaborate with team members to support projects as per Finance Project Plan or any other project communicated from Regional Office;\r\nVerify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable;\r\nLiaise with other departments, banks and local authorities\r\nPrepare all inter-company transactions postings and generate invoices as necessary;\r\nConduct regular ledger maintenance;\r\nEnsure required documentation is accurately collected and properly filed;\r\nIdentify areas of improvement and makes appropriate suggestions;\r\nIs involved in ad hoc projects undertaken by the department as a means of continuously improving financial operations.\n\n\r\n\r\nWhat You Need To Succeed (Required Q","salary":null,"skills":[],"url":"https://www.cypruswork.com/job/106431/senior-accountant/","source":"cypruswork","sources":[{"url":"https://www.cypruswork.com/job/106431/senior-accountant/","source":"cypruswork"}],"qualifications":[],"scaleGrade":null,"employmentType":"Full Time","industry":"Accounting, Finance","datePosted":"2026-06-17T07:31:09.000Z","deadline":"2026-08-16T10:31:09+03:00","createdAt":"2026-06-26T17:05:01.705Z","fingerprint":"833203241bb6a71e","status":"active","lastSeenAt":"2026-06-26T17:05:01.490Z"}
