At IKEA we always do our jobs knowing that we can achieve great things when many people work together.\n\r\nFor our store in Nicosia, Cyprus, we are looking for: Accountant \n\r\nThe Position:\n\r\nReporting to the Accounting Team Leader, you will be responsible and accountable for:\n\r\n\r\nEnsuring the legal compliance of all accounting and controlling related issues for your store and proposing needed actions\r\nProducing all reporting in the timelines given\r\nAssuming projects that the Accounting Team Leader appoints and bringing them to the desired result in the agreed deadlines and quality standards\r\nProviding top level customer service related to the accounting department\r\nBookkeeping and reconciling sales and receivables\r\nBookkeeping and reconciling purchases and payables\r\nFollow up on receivable and payable balances\r\n\r\nSkills & Qualifications:\n\r\n\r\nBachelor in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration\r\nVery good analytical and numerical skills\r\nVery good knowledge of the Cyprus VAT regulations\r\nCustomer Focus\r\nFocus on detail, good planning and organizational skills\r\nAbility to work under pressure and strict deadlines\r\nVery good command of the English language\r\nVery good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel\r\nKnowledge of SAP ERP will be considered as an advantage\r\n\r\nThe people we seek:\n\r\nYou lead by example.
