{"id":20309,"title":"Senior Accountant","company":"Blue Orange Property Management Services Ltd","location":"Paphos","description":"Blue Orange Property Management Services Ltd, is seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join a highly active and passionate team.\n\r\nThe successful candidate will perform various financial and accounting duties and provide general administrative assistance to the accounts department\n\r\nLocation: Pafos\n\r\nDuties and responsibilities: \n\r\n\r\nDaily record key financial transactions using spreadsheets and automated accounting systems;\r\nMaintain proper accounting books and records;\r\nPrepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements\r\nPrepare and send invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders\r\nProcess receipts, sales invoices, and payments from customers and to suppliers\r\nMonitor accounts payable and following up on outstanding balances as required\r\nReconcile accounts in a timely manner\r\nPerform bank and supplier reconciliations;\r\nManage petty cash transactions\r\nPrepare and submit VAT reports and other statutory filings\r\nEnsure compliance with Cyprus accounting, tax, and financial regulations\r\nLiaise with government authorities, auditors, banks, and external partners\r\nAssist with budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls\r\nInteract with visiting clients or deal with customers by phone and email\r\nProvide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department\r\n\r\nNecessary requirements:\n\r\n\r\nUniversity Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field\r\n3-5 years of relevant experience\r\nEffective Communications Skills\r\nProficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of accounting software\r\nExcellent knowledge of the English and Greek language, written and oral\r\nCustomer service orientation\r\nInitiative and attention to detail\r\nOrganisational skills and ability to meet deadlines\r\nProblem-solving\r\nResults orientated\r\nDrive and determination\r\nTeam player\r\n\r\nWe offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package commensurate with knowledge and experience.\n\r\n\r\nNot what you are looking for?
