{"id":20290,"title":"Quality Officer","company":"Dromon Bureau of Shipping","location":"Limassol","description":"Dromon Bureau of Shipping (DromonClass) is seeking to employ a Quality Officer.\n\r\nPurpose\n\r\nThe main role of this position is to keep the Organization’s quality and health and safety system up to date and to ensure that its services conform to specified requirements.\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\n\r\nThe successful candidate reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for:\n\r\n\r\nDeveloping, supervising and ensuring that the Organization’s QMS is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 17020, ISO 14065 and ISO 45001 quality standards and the RO Code.\r\nReporting on the performance of the Quality Management System to the Chief Executive Officer for review and as a basis for improvement.\r\nSupervising the integrity of the quality management system when changes are planned and implemented.\r\nSupervising and monitoring non-conformances and corrective actions.\r\nImplementing a plan of internal audits.\r\nSupervising all matters related to the training of employees and subcontractors.\r\nCarrying out ISO audits when necessary.\r\nPerforming any other tasks related to the position.\r\n\r\nMinimum Qualifications\n\r\n\r\nUniversity Degree in Marine / Mechanical Engineering or Shipping.\r\nISO 9001 Lead Auditor training.\r\nMinimum two years’ work experience in Quality Management Systems, particularly ISO 45001, 14001, 14065, 27001, 17020 and 17021.\r\nExperience in the Classification Society / Maritime industry is desirable.\r\nFluent in English (verbal and written).\r\nAbility to meet deadlines.\r\nComputer literate.\r\nStrong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.\r\nStrong organizational skills.\r\nTeam player.\r\n\r\nConditions of Employment\n\r\nSalary and benefits according with the candidate’s knowledge and experience.\n\r\nAbout the Company\n\r\nDromonClass has been established in 2003 as an independent International Classification Society for sea going vessels and other marine structures, providing classification and statutory certification ","salary":null,"skills":[],"url":"https://www.cypruswork.com/job/105418/quality-officer/","source":"cypruswork","sources":[{"url":"https://www.cypruswork.com/job/105418/quality-officer/","source":"cypruswork"}],"qualifications":[],"scaleGrade":null,"employmentType":"Full Time","industry":"Shipping - Maritime","datePosted":"2026-05-25T10:22:25.000Z","deadline":"2026-07-24T13:22:25+03:00","createdAt":"2026-05-29T14:58:33.791Z","fingerprint":"63c47e63bd65489a","status":"active","lastSeenAt":"2026-05-29T14:58:33.775Z"}
