Group is looking for an Accountant to become a member of their team.\n\r\n \n\r\nResponsibilities:\n\r\n\r\n\r\nManage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate data entry in the accounting system.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nProcess and review accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPrepare and reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and other balance sheet reconciliations.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nHandle month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain organised, accurate, and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPrepare financial reports and assist in the analysis of financial data.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nEnsure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and relevant legislation.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAssist with VAT submissions, tax documentation, and other regulatory filings.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIf yoSupport internal and external audits by providing required information and schedules.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nCollaborate with other departments to resolve accounting, invoicing, or payment discrepancies.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nContribute to process improvements and accounting system enhancements.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPerform ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks as required.\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \n\r\nRequirements:\n\r\n\r\n\r\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMinimum 2–4 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nProficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nGood organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of tasks.\n\r\n\r\n\r\nKnowledge of VAT and basic tax compliance ","salary":null,"skills":[],"url":"https://www.cypruswork.com/job/105808/accountant/","source":"cypruswork","sources":[{"url":"https://www.cypruswork.com/job/105808/accountant/","source":"cypruswork"}],"qualifications":[],"scaleGrade":null,"employmentType":"Full Time","industry":"Accounting, Finance","datePosted":"2026-05-21T08:48:32.000Z","deadline":"2026-07-20T11:48:32+03:00","createdAt":"2026-05-22T16:33:25.494Z","fingerprint":"f32196a03fcc8541","status":"active","lastSeenAt":"2026-05-22T16:33:25.078Z"}
