The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for ensuring high standards of quality, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to agreed schedules and budgets.\n \nMain responsibilities:\n· Study the architectural, structural and other drawings and the specification, identify problems/ areas for clarification, and ensure that Site Engineers, foremen and subcontractors involved are sufficiently informed. Collaborate with the Project Manager, the Architects and the consultants for the effective supervision of the works\n· Confirm compatibility of site conditions with designs \n· Assess quality of materials and the performance of materials suppliers of the project.\n· Monitor and support the work of subcontractors with the aim of delivering the highest possible workmanship within the project timeframes\n· Monitor and report project progress on a weekly basis\n· Ensure adherence to Health & Safety guidelines\n· Ensure regulatory compliance during project execution\n· Ensure that accurate inventory records of materials and equipment are kept\n· Have overall responsibility for site engineers and foremen, ensuring effective supervision and performance management.\n \nNecessary qualifications:\n· University Degree in Civil Engineering or Architect \n· 5+ years relevant experience in construction projects.
