This is a unique opportunity to engage in cross-border collaboration with Deloitte professionals across the network, broaden your knowledge and develop your skills and competencies.\n \nThe Senior Legal Counsel Role\nThe successful candidate’s key responsibilities include the following:\n· Supporting the General Counsel (the Contentious Matters Leader) in the management of Contentious Matters portfolio.\n· Acting as the first point of contact for queries and escalations from Contentious Matters team members.\n· Overseeing the entire Deloitte Middle East Contentious Matters portfolio across 16 countries and approximately 20 jurisdictions.\n· Issuing clear and detailed instructions to external counsel.\n· Formulating case strategies, both procedural and substantive.\n· Preparing reports and updates for the General Counsel.\n \nRequirements\n· Undergraduate degree in Law or a related field from a reputable university.\n· Qualified common law practitioner with a minimum of 12 years’ post-admission/qualification experience in dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration and other Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods.
