We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to develop within a well-established and expanding group involved in multiple construction and property projects across Cyprus.\nKey Responsibilities:\n• Managing the full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and month-end closings for construction and property-related entities.\n• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ensuring timely and accurate submission in accordance with Cyprus VAT legislation (including reduced VAT rate for properties).\n• Maintaining and reconciling suppliers, subcontractors, intercompany accounts, and bank statements on a monthly basis.\n• Monitoring project-related expenses, progress payments, and retention accounts.\n• Assisting in cost allocation per project and preparing project profitability and cost-to-completion analyses.\n• Coordinating with project manager, engineer, and site administrators to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.\n• Preparing management accounts and assisting in financial reporting and cashflow forecasting.\n• Liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and other external consultants as required.\n• Supporting the Finance Manager and/or CFO with ad-hoc reporting, budgeting, and administrative tasks.\nRequired Qualifications:\n• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in construction, real estate, or audit firms will be considered an advantage.\n• Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting standards, and IFRS principles.\n• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) or similar ERP systems.\n• Excellent command of English and Greek, both written and spoken.\n• Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.\nIdeal Candidate Profile:\n• M","salary":null,"skills":[],"url":"https://ergodotisi.com/en-CY/jobs/6971086","source":"ergodotisi","sources":[{"url":"https://ergodotisi.com/en-CY/jobs/6971086","source":"ergodotisi"}],"qualifications":[],"scaleGrade":null,"datePosted":"2026-05-01T03:00:00.000Z","deadline":"2026-05-30T06:00:00+03:00","createdAt":"2026-05-01T09:02:05.830Z","fingerprint":"7d9d02417627459b","status":"active","lastSeenAt":"2026-05-01T09:02:05.812Z"}
