{"id":13510,"title":"Accountant","company":"4 Seas International Ltd","location":"Nicosia","description":"Job Description:\nThe successful accountant applicant will be working from 08:00–13:00 with flexibility for working up to 2 days from home, once training and knowledge of the business activities of the company is established. \n \nKey Responsibilities:\n• Bookkeeping and recording of all transactions in the accounting software\n• Maintain a complete set of books, prepare journals and post entries, keep records of accounts, and verify procedures used for recording financial transactions\n• Reconcile bank accounts, debtors, creditors, review trial balances and underlying balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end and year-end closing procedures\n• Prepare and submit VAT/VIES returns to Cyprus authorities\n• Support the audit process, preparing relevant documentation, liaising with external auditors, and completion of annual statutory audit\n• Communication with clients in relation to accounting issues \n• Communication with colleagues for providing updated balances for debtors and creditors\n \n\nRequirements\n• 3+ years’ experience as an Accountant\n• Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills and attention to detail\n• Academic background in accounting and professional qualification will be considered as an advantage\n• Ability to work both independently as well as in a team\n• Good knowledge of any accounting software (Sage) will be considered as an advantage\n• Computer literate and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)\n• Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)\n• Good knowledge of preparation and submission of VAT and VIES to be considered an advantage.\n• Half day working hours and opportunity to work from home up to 2 days","salary":null,"skills":[],"url":"https://ergodotisi.com/en-CY/jobs/6969098","source":"ergodotisi","sources":[{"url":"https://ergodotisi.com/en-CY/jobs/6969098","source":"ergodotisi"}],"qualifications":[],"scaleGrade":null,"datePosted":"2026-04-24T07:15:53.000Z","deadline":"2026-05-23T10:15:53+03:00","createdAt":"2026-04-25T06:41:50.183Z","fingerprint":"364d8056d43004f4","status":"active","lastSeenAt":"2026-04-25T06:41:49.968Z"}
