{"id":13321,"title":"Group Chief Accountant","company":"George Tsanos Group","location":"Limassol","description":"Role Overview:\nReporting to the group CFO & CEO\nResponsible for the overall financial management of the group.\nEnsure team members are supervised as well as developed through on the job supervision based on human organisational principles.\nJob Responsibilities:\nMonitor financial accounting systems, transactions, policies and procedures.\nPrepare, present monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements and all accounting reports (TB, BS, P & L, cashflows).\nAnalyse and interpret financial information for budgeting and forecasting including variances from actual to budget and forecast.\nThe person in charge to approve payments to subcontractors and suppliers.\nManaging / Controlling the efficient application of all hotel software PMS & POS Interfaces / End of Day including the reviewing of daily revenue\nParticipating in budget preparation and keeping truck of month variances and proactively prevents significant variances\nEnsure compliance with all applicable accounting standards & laws including VAT, other related documents.\nLiaise with auditors for preparation of annual audit reports.\nResponsible for Management Accounts\nExecution of payroll, salary payments, social insurance, PAYE and other reporting requirements\nSupervise and guide the accounting team\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or equivalent field degree in accounting or finance\n5+ years’ experience in a similar role (hospitality is an advantage)\nProficiency in financial software.
