As a Production Manager, you will oversee the production process based on fabrication drawings. As part of your role, you will ensure dimensional and quality control of assemblies, supervise and monitor welding, including carrying out a final welding quality inspection, and ensure the safe loading of the final product for transport to the construction site. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in a relevant field of study such as Mechanical or Civil Engineering, who possess prior experience in Production Management and Quality Control within a manufacturing environment. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, which includes a 13th salary, and working hours are from 07:00 – 16:00 from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required.\n \nKey Duties/Responsibilities:\nOrganization and scheduling of the workforce.Monitoring project timelines.Oversee the cutting and drilling process in line with fabrication drawings.Ensure dimensional and quality control for assemblies during and after completion.Supervise and monitor welding, including carrying out a final welding quality inspection.Complete a paint quality inspection of the final product.Ensuring the safe loading of the final product for transport to the construction site.Attend the construction site as required to oversee installation/erection of projects. \nKey Skills/Experience:\nUniversity degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution in Cyprus or abroad.Prior experience in Production Management and Quality Control within the Construction industry is a must.
